In a recent interview, Neeraj expressed confidence in surpassing 90 m again, following his historic Doha throw. He shared that he’s still adjusting to combining new technique refinements from Zelezny, such as smoother crossovers and reducing collapsing the left side.

This event was India’s first World Athletics Gold level javelin meet drawing 14,500+ spectators and featuring javelin stars like Julius Yego and Thomas Rohler, aswell as breaking the all time attendance record for a javelin throws only event.
the athletics world is looking forward to the upcoming javelin battle between Neeraj and Arshad Nadeem (2024 Olympic gold medallist for Pakistan) at the Silesia Diamond League in Poland on 16 August their first head-to-head battle since Paris 2024. It’s billed as a thrilling ‘revenge match’ after Nadeem’s 92.97 m Olympic win.
So what must Neeraj work on before going into battle with another monster thrower? under the classful eye of the GOAT himself, Jan Zelezny, Neeraj need to focus on Fine-tuning his release faze of the throw along with the run-up consistency, We all know if there is one thrower for the job it is Jan.
